The second number of the series Citizens & Markets is now available in electronic version.

This publication consists of a description and analysis of the efforts to create new instruments for the citizens, in civil society organizations, the academy or the private sector, to participate and fulfill public control as well as rebuild trust in institutions and public procedures.

A New Generation of Public Control contains contributions from specialists of diverse institutions such as Coventry University, Global Integrity, Transparency International, Hacettepe University, etc. This publication addresses concepts and cases that contribute to the discussion on multi actor initiatives and new governance models, for example, Open Government as a Strategic Tool for Public Procurement, Agreements for watershed service in Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico, etc.
